I didn’t relinquish being an athlete when I became pregnant.– Robin Arzon
There’s nothing I love more than a woman doing whatever the hell she wants, and Peloton’s head instructor Robin Arzon is a superhero.
We at Babes (lol jk it’s literally just me) are psyched to see Robin Arzon back on the Peloton live schedule next Tuesday, July 12. Earlier this year, Robin went on maternity leave for what seems like an eternity to welcome her first child, Athena. Prior to that, Robin kicked pregnancy ass by working out starring her beautiful baby bump and providing Peloton’s very first pre-natal classes on the platform. Her pregnant workouts were even met with some criticism by instagram users (cue major eye roll) for being “too intense”. Damn, people were really bored over the past year, huh?
If you’re unfamiliar with Peloton… lol wut? Is Peloton a little bit culty? Sure. Am I above it? Absolutely not. I would follow Robin Arzon and Jess Sims through the depths of hell if they’d have me. But both Robin’s pregnancy and return go to show how resilient women are – not just as athletes, but as human beings who like to get shit done.
It’s worth mentioning that the 26x-marathoner, best selling author, Mother, former lawyer and head Peloton instructor recently released a Masterclass on Mental Strength. BRB, playing it on loop for the foreseeable future.
Welcome back, Robin!
